Cliff Cardinal
Cliff Cardinal is from Toronto. Before leaving for Montreal to study Playwriting at The National Theatre School of Canada he wrote two plays: Stitch and Huff (published by Playwrights Canada Press); and one album: This is Not a Mistake. He performs his own work and devotes most of his time to writing. His work has appeared on stage, in Rice Paper Magazine, CBC’s Canada Writes, and his music can be found online. He teaches writing at the Centre for Indigenous Theatre and is the Writer in Residence at The Video Cabaret, where all his plays are developed. www.cliffcardinal.com
Karin Randoja
Karin Randoja is an award-winning director, actor, teacher and singer/composer. She mainly directs original devised performances and is a founding member of The Independent Aunties and Primus Theatre. She has been nominated for numerous Dora Awards, The Capital Circle Critic’s Award and the Prix Rideau. She and/or her work has been seen in Australia, Denmark, England, India, Italy, France, Japan, and Mozambique. As a teacher/director, she is on faculty at Humber College, has been a regular guest instructor at The National Theatre School of Canada and is herself an acting graduate of The National Theatre School of Canada.

Michelle is an award-winning lighting designer who works with dance, theatre and opera companies across Canada. Selected designs include:Lukumi (The Watah Theatre); Our Town (Theatre Rusticle); Medea (Opera Atelier); The Magic Hour – co-designed with Jennifer Tipton (Jess Dobkin); Acquiesce (Factory Theatre/fu-GEN); for colored girls. . . (Soulpepper); Body Politic (lemonTree); Rocking Horse Winner (Tapestry Opera); Scarberia (Young People’s Theatre); Gertrude and Alice (Independent Aunties/Buddies in Bad Times Theatre); dead reckoning (Blue Ceiling Dance); Road to Paradise (Human Cargo). She has received seven Dora Awards, a SATAward and the 2008 Pauline McGibbon award.

Alex Williams
ALEX WILLIAMS is a Toronto-based multi-disciplinary artist – filmmaker, designer, writer and actor, working in documentary, narrative film and theatre. Stage credits include: KISS (Canstage, ARC & Theatre Smash) FARE GAME (Theatre Passe Muraille), THE HEIRESS (Chemainus Theatre), YOU ARE HERE (Horseshoes & Hand Grenades) THE LOVE PROJECT (Stand Up Dance). He is President of artist-run centre Charles Street Video, board member of Toronto Media Arts Centre, an instructor and coach in production at the National Theatre School of Canada and a member of Canadian Actor’s Equity Association, the Documentary Organization of Canada, and the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Televsion. Currently an MFA candidate in Film Production at York University, Alex holds a BFA from Emily Carr University. His recent film THE PASS SYSTEM, an investigative documentary into an illegal and little-known six-decade policy of segregation in Canada, was broadcast on APTN & CBC, and nominated for two Canadian Screen Awards.

Jackie has worked as a set and costume designer across Canada and her work has toured internationally. In addition, she is a production designer and art director for film and television. Having stage managed over 140 professional productions in her 31 year career, it has been one of Jennifer’s greatest gifts to be able work on the Huff team. A resident of Toronto, she has worked and toured across Canada several times, across the US, to Dublin, Ireland, London, England, and Sydney, Australia.
